Volunteering in Uganda with Kirabo Kids Foundation (KKF) is an experience that you will forever remember.

Uganda is a country that is full of natural beauty, and was coined the “Pearl of Africa” by Mr. Winston Churchill, the late British Prime Minister.

The diverse landscape features lake beaches, lush countryside, tropical forests, National Parks, Mountains of the Moon, Silver Back Gorillas and many other unique opportunities to experience the East African culture.

Volunteering at a Medical Clinic in Gulu – On Going All Year

Description of Tasks: Assist in various tasks ranging from stocking the shelves of the pharmacy, to treating patients.

Interested Parties, Qualifications: Medical Students, Retired Nurses, Midwives, Doctors, knowledge in pharmaceuticals.

Fee Schedule:Registration Fee $200 US Funds

• 2 – 3 weeks $1100 US Funds
• 3 – 4 weeks $1500 US Funds
• 4 – 6 weeks $2100 US Funds

Volunteer Teaching in an Elementary/Primary School – On Going All Year

Description of Tasks: Hands on teaching in a classroom of children.You could teach from grade/primary 1 to 6; English, math; science; social studies, etc.

Interested Parties, Qualifications: High School Graduates, Teachers, Education Assistants, Retired Teachers, Nursery School Workers, Experience or Certification is NOT required.

Fee Schedule: Registration Fee $100 US Funds

• 2 – 3 weeks $1100 US Funds
• 3 – 4 weeks $1500US Funds
• 4 – 6 weeks $2100 US Funds

Building a Medical Clinic in Bugiri – On Going All Year

Description of Tasks: Assist in building a clinic from construction to furnishings

Interested Parties, Qualifications: Anyone with building experience, medical personnel, donation of medical equipment, midwives, medical students.

Fee Schedule: Registration Fee $200 US Funds

• 2 – 3 weeks $1100 US Funds
• 3 – 4 weeks $1500 US Funds
• 4 – 6 weeks $2100 US Funds

Building a Kirabo Kids Foundation School – On Going All Year

Description of Tasks: Assist in building a school from construction to furnishings.

Interested Parties, Qualifications: Anyone with building experience, teachers, Education Assistants.Donations of school supplies, uniforms, school van, etc.

Fee Schedule: Registration Fee $100 US Funds

• 2 – 3 weeks $1100
• 3 – 4 weeks $1500
• 4 – 6 weeks $2100

** Fees include meals and accommodation.
** Airfare, medical insurance and other expenses are NOT included in the fee schedule.
